Scope of Clinical Research

The Ear Science Institute Australia Clinical Research Group is engaged in a number of projects to assess surgical outcomes, ear surgery implants, and devices. We are also developing ear disease diagnosis and assessment algorithms to complement our telehealth research projects.

Research topics include:

• Outcomes after implantation of the MED-EL Electro-Acoustic Simulator

• Malleostapedotomy

• Anatomy of the anterior supra-labyrinthine air cell tract
